Dr. Betty Shabazz Delta Academy

The Dr. Betty Shabazz Delta Academy curriculum incorporates the development of positive attitudes, effective problem solving skills, confidence, and other skills/tools to help build a solid plan for the future. We also show them the many and varied opportunities that are open to them in the STEM career fields. The goals of the program are to assist in preparing young girls for full participation as leaders in the
21st century.

The program schedule includes workshops, hands-on activities, guest speakers and active participation in the community.

The Williamsburg Alumnae Chapter Delta Academy program is open to girls between the ages of 11 - 14 and/or grades 6 – 8 in the Williamsburg, James City, York, Gloucester, and Matthews areas.
